A consultative-cum-interactive meeting of the BJP legislators with the ex-candidates of 14th NLA election 2023 was held on June 30 at the official residence of dy. CM and BLP leader, Y. Patton in Kohima.
Media cell of Dy. CMO informed that the main purpose of the meeting was to uplift the spirit of the ex- candidates and to ensure unity within the party, regardless of the election outcome. At the meeting, Patton stressed on the importance of both the victorious candidates and those defeated candidates to work together for the party’s progress in the State.
All attendees were encouraged to share their unique experience from the recent election and to bring different perspective to the table. Out of the 20 members, four of them could not attend the meeting owing to their official engagement.
