BJP Mokokchung constructed a “medical room” at the Care and Support Children Home (orphanage) at Tsumarshiyong under Mokokchung town on December 10.
Media & IT, BJP Mokokchung district informed that the cabin was funded through its president, Imolemba Jamir and the works were initiated by BJP Mokokchung district.
Speaking at a programme, managing director of Care and Support Society, Imchawati Kichu acknowledged the noble work and said that the home was in dire need of a special cabin called “sick room”.
It may be mentioned that the home was established in 2013 and began functioning from 2016. The orphanage has 14 children under its care.
