BJP Nagaland has mourned the demise of late Purno Agitok Sangma, a prominent and towering political personality from North East.
In a condolence message, BJP Nagaland in the death of late Sangma, not only Meghalaya but the nation and particularly the entire north east has lost a leader.
It said late Sangma bridged the gaps between the region and different parts of the country in his several capacities as a national leader.
The message described late Sangma as a true spokesman, who was the voice of the northeast and highlighted the diversities of the region to the nation through his affable personality.
BJP Nagaland has also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
