Bringing the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to a spirited close, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland, led by State President Benjamin Yepthomi, organised a Hand Cart Tiranga Yatra from DDSC to Thakurbari Ground via Blue Hill Road in Dimapur. About 100 hand carts participated in the colourful procession.
State president Yepthomi personally led the march by pulling a cart, while former candidate and BJP Disciplinary Action Committee member Hukiye Tissca flagged off the event at DDSC.
In a parallel show of social outreach, the BJP State Mahila Morcha, under the leadership of State president Tsachola Rothrong, distributed sanitary pads across all 14 districts of Nagaland.
While Dimapur district hosted a formal programme for the initiative, other districts carried out the distribution in public spaces, streets, and orphanages, reaching women and girls in need.
