Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Phek district has condemned and disowned the press statement issued by “self styled” general secretary and spokesperson of BJP Phek district K.H Keyho, which was published in local dailies.
In a press release, BJP Phek district general secretary Khosheta Rhakho, general secretary administration Deo Movi, Vice president Kevese Lasuh and vice president Vepasayi Resuh claimed that K.H Keyho was not in the list of BJP Phek district office bearers, beside “there is no constitutional post such as spokesperson at the district level.”
BJP Phek district further appealed to “all esteemed local dailies not to entertain any press statements issued under the name such as K.H Keyho as BJP member who had been misleading the public.”
They further cautioned K.H Keyho not to issue any press statements in the name of BJP Phek district. It also acknowledged the state BJP office to give due authorization to take appropriate action against any of its members for anti party activity.
