BJP Wokha district mandal tour led by organizing secretary Nagaland, Ananta Narayan Mishra along with Er. Cheong Konyak , state vice president & in charge, Wokha district, Er. Senkathung Jami, state vice president and district officials from July 18 to 19.
A press note by BJP Wokha district, general secretary Nchumbemo Jami stated that Ananta Mishra in all the mandals spoke about party organisational set up with ten points to execute to prepare for the ensuing general assembly election onward footing. He said that BJP was basically a party based for the grass root people and not against any religion as it believes in positive secularism and value-based politics.
He requested the public not to be confused with political propaganda but join hands and vote for BJP so as to relieve the hardship the public are facing daily.
Er. Cheong Konyak also encouraged and apprised the party workers that Wokha district was a pioneer district for BJP in Nagaland.
39 Sanis: In the district tour the BJP also conducted mandal meeting at 39th Sanis BJP on July 19 at Pangti village with Ananta Narayan Mishra, Er. Cheong Konyak, and officials from Wokha and Mokokchung districts.
In a separate press note by 39 Sanis BJP mandal president, N. N. Ngullie and general secretary, T. Ovung stated that Ananta Narayan Mishra assured the gathering that central school would be established within the periphery of the Doyang Hydro Project (NEEPCO LTD) for the effected people, the 5% percent sales profit will be directly given to the people of the effected villages, and the road connectivity from Alichen to Dimapur via Doyang Hydro Project, Sanis Lotsu would be taken up under State Highway within a year.
Others who spoke included Er. Cheong Konyak, district president Meribemo Kinghen, Nzano Kikon, president BJMM Wokha district and Oreno Murry, state executive member BJMM.
The meeting was attended by more than 500 public and the programme was presided by N. Nchumbomo Ngullie, president 39th Sanis BJP Mandal, Catechist St. Paul Church Pangti invoked God’s blessing, welcome address was pronounced by Etsorhumo Odyuo unit president, vote of thanks by T. Ovung, general secretary 39th Sanis BJP Mandal and benediction by Yentso Ngullie, pastor AG Church Pangti.
Shamator: BJP, organising secretary, Nagaland in-charge Ananda Naryanan Mishra, visited Shamator, 58 A/C mandal on July 21. He interacted with the party workers during his visit and requested all the party members to maintain peace and clean election during the election hour. He assured that the BJP government was planning to give more privileges, like in development and employment, to the Nagas and urged the party members to implement the eight programme of the party. Ananda, was accompanied by Hori Zeliang, spokes person BJP, Nagaland, Thseangse president BJP Tuensang district, president BJYM Tuensang district.
The program was chaired by Luntsu president BJYM 58A/C, welcome address by, Apong, mandal general secy 58 A/C and short speech was given by K. Thrimho mandal president and vote of thanks by H. Shihtoba, mandal advisor.
