Nagaland BJP led by organisation secretary, BJP Nagaland, Ananta Narayan Mishra has toured seven mandals under Tuensang district.
The BJP “mandal tour” kick-started on July 20 at 52 Longkhim/Chare, Noklak, 57 Thonoknyu and 58 Chessore/Shamator on July 21; 53 Tuensang Sadar- I and Tuensang Sadar- II on July 22 and concluded at 51 Mandal Noksen on July 24.
A press note by BJP Tuensang district general secretary, Dekhing Sangtam stated that during the tour, Ananta as the main speaker emphasised on party organisational set up with ten points to execute to prepare for the ensuing general assembly election on war footing.
He stressed on how schemes and developmental projects were not fully implemented in the state and assured that BJP party would take up every scheme and developmental projects even in the most remote villages.
Ananta urged all the party workers to work two hours in a day for the party and appealed the public to vote wisely for a leader who would sincerely work for the welfare of the public.
Others who accompanied Mishra and delivered speeches included BJP spokesman Nagaland, Hurui Zeliang, Lima Onen, secretary, BJP Nagaland and H. Makum , member secretary, legal cell, BJP Nagaland. The district team was led by the district president and office bearers, Morcha BJYM and BJMM.
In a separate press note by 54 A/C Tuensang sadar II mandal president, N. T. Mongko stated that the tour team conducted meeting on July 22 in the residence of ex-candidate BJP, Rhakila Lakiumong. The 54 A/C Tsg sadar II also thanked Ananta for visiting every mandal at the grass-root level in the true spirit of upliftment of the country and state.
