BJP 21-Tuli Mandal has expressed amazement at the Union tribal affairs ministry sanctioning Rs 2 crore in 2019-2020 for setting up organic food processing plant at Tuli, Mokokchung, as claimed by Rising People’s Party in media.
While acknowledging Government of India for undertaking such initiative, the party said it was very unfortunate that it was yet to identify neither the location nor the beneficiary to whom the project had been allotted. However, it hoped that the beneficiary would commence the project very soon.
Therefore, BJP 21-Tuli Mandal appealed to the contractor/s concerned to immediately commence building the infrastructure and initiate necessary developmental works so as to complete the project within stipulated timeframe.
The mandal said it would not remain a mere spectator, but would apply every available option to see that the project was completed within the stipulated period so that the targeted population in the area was benefitted.
