BL Damani passes away

Prominent businessman and senior citizen of Dimapur, BL Damani, passed away this morning at the age of 76 years.
Born on January 14, late BL Damani has served the society in various capacities as president of Lions Club from 1992-1993, Life Time Member of Lions Club, and member of Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF).
He left behind his wife, two sons Shubash Damani and Basu Damani, three daughters, eight grandsons, six granddaughters and six great grand children. The last rites of late BL Damani would be held in Midland Colony, H/No. 235 on January 18 at 9 AM.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Nagaland unit, has mourned the demise of BL Damani, a prominent citizen of Dimapur and grandfather of Arvind Damani, Secretary BJYM Nagaland. BJYM president K Kahoto Chishi and the general secretary (Admn) Mukibur Rahman have conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NPF Minority Wing has also mourned the demise of late BL Damani, senior citizen and father of Basu Damani, NPF general secretary (central). Minority wing further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
