BFAC meeting for Sitimi block, Kiphire district was held at Seyochung village on June 28 at the office of the SDAO, Seyochung village.
A press release by DAO office Kiphire stated that the program was led by Hokato Achumi, BTM, Sitimi block. He gave a briefing about the functions and duties of BFAC members, including on the importance of practicing and applying scientific methods of cultivation. He also challenged the farmers to be innovative in their farming activities by identifying the correct methods on the basis of farm location, altitude and climatic conditions. Altogether, 11 members attended the meeting.
