Jalukie battalion of Assam Rifles organised a medical camp and awareness campaign on the occasion at New Impai, Peren on June 14. A total of 56 people were benefitted from the medical camp where basic medical check up and awareness on benefits and superstitions on blood donation were imparted.
The battalion also organised a women empowerment and recruitment drive, alongside lecture on COVID-19 awareness for women of Tenning, Peren, on June 14.
NCC cadets of DBCK: NCC cadets of Don Bosco College Kohima (DBCK) observed world blood donor day on June 15. NCC cadet Tsurila of 2nd semester donated at NHAK, Kohima blood bank.
A press release from DBCK informed that Tsurila was accompanied by NCC officer Rokovinuo and the college principal.
