Diphupar police recovered a body later identified as one Raju Mandal, son of late Sanhan Singh, near Sugar Mill village, 5th Mile, Dimapur, on Wednesday. Police said the deceased was found blindfolded, his hands tied and with a single bullet wound on the forehead. Meanwhile, MIP/NSCN (I-M) in a press release alleged that Raju, a son-in-law of “tatar” Vikheshe, was shot dead by rival “Azheto-Mulatonu-Kitovi group.” NSCN (I-M) said the victim was pulled out from the hands of his wife and shot dead.
