Body recovered

Kohima police recovered the body of a local male near Merema village on NH-61, some 10 km away from Kohima town, Wednesday around 1.30 p.m. SP Kohima in a press release said the victim later identified as one Shevota Rhakho (44) and son of Zachitso of Tehepu village under Phek district, bore three gunshot wounds on the head. Police also recovered three empty cases of AK-47 bullets from the spot. Meanwhile, three persons have been taken to police custody in connection with the killing of Shevota.
