IMPHAL, MAY 15: One person was killed in a bomb blast around 11.40 pm at Singjamei Chongtham Leikai near Singjamei Bazar under Singjamei police station in Imphal.
The deceased person was later identified as Ningthoujam Sanjit (22) son of N Ranjit, a resident of Moidangpok Khunou in Imphal West district.
The police suspected the deceased to be the carrier of the bomb. The police recovered a motorcycle suspected to be belonging to the deceased from the spot and have launched an investigation.
