Book on ‘Kindling Killing Passion’ released

“Kindling Killing Passion”, my world in three syllables: Poetry written by Runshito Lim was released at Red Cross conference hall, Kohima on September8.


Dr.Theyiesinuo Keditsu, poet, academic and educator, who graced the releasing programme as special guest spoke on the unique aspects of the book written in Yimkhiung. Keditsu emphasized the need to overcome cultural cringe and encouraged Nagas to be proud of their literary traditions and to create their own literary culture that reflects the unique experiences and perspectives. She encouraged the people to start writing and contribute to the literary landscape, as their perspectives were valuable and deserve to be heard.


Guest of honour, EAC, Kohima Dr.Riku Khutso in his short speech emphasized the importance of seizing opportunities and not being complacent or lethargic in pursuing one’s passion.
Runshito Lim in the authors’ speech mentioned that this was his second book. He also shared his inspirational journey on how he started to write books.


Earlier, the dedicatory prayer was offered by Yimkhiung Baptist Borü pastor Wongtokiu.
The publishers note was delivered by PenThrill Publication House Rita Krocha. HoD department of English, SJCAJ James HK and Inatoli K Jimo research scholar and spoken word artist gave book reviews.
