Book on ‘The Morphing Years’ released

The book “The Morphing Years” by K. Roselyn Miachieo was released on June 3 at Common Room, Kohima. The book is a collection of 26 poems and marks the author’s debut.
The event featured Dr. Adenuo Shirat Luikham, an author and assistant professor at Don Bosco College, as the special guest. She praised the book as a heartfelt tribute to Roselyn’s late father and commended her mother’s support.
Poet Dr. Theyiesinuo Keditsu appreciated the book’s title, saying it reflects Roselyn’s personal journey. Publisher Rita Krocha urged people to purchase books instead of expecting free copies, supporting authors, especially debut writers.
In her author’s note, Roselyn shared that The Morphing Years is a deeply personal collection, exploring grief, healing, and self-acceptance, shaped by her experiences as the daughter of a single mother.
The program began with an invocation by Catechist Francis P. Kiewhuo from SFS Parish, Kohima.
