Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar (SCMP), on October 31, organised an awareness program on border development for a prosperous nation at Congress Bhavan, Mon headquarters with DC Mon, Thavaseelan K as the chief guest.
A press release by SCMP stated the in his speech, the DC urged the people to extend their cooperation and utilise funds under BADP properly.
The program was chaired by SMCP women coordinator, Jainon, introductory speech was delivered by co-convenor Nagaland, Thsapi and vote of thanks by chief convenor of Nagaland, Rukuvi Sakhrie. The release also stated that, Neangba and Ponwang have been elected as the president and general secretary of SCMP Mon respectively.
