Bout Lords Club, a group of present and former wrestlers along with wrestling enthusiasts organised a felicitation programme for athletes who competed in the recently held Naga Wrestling Championship 2024.
At the programme, the club congratulated Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü for winning the NWA championship 2024 and six others who took part in the event.
The club extended support to the four members who have been selected to take part in the Asian games in Traditional Belt Wrestling and the other six members called for trial for the same to be held in the month of May 2024.
The club also acknowledged the induction of Neisavotuo Whuorie as vice president of Angami Sports Association and Kezhalelie Keretsü as convenor, Nagaland wrestling referee board (NWRB) and co-opted member to NWA.
It may be mentioned that the club has produced three NWA champions including Kezhalelie Keretsü in 2012, Menuosetuo Yiese, 2018 and Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü in 2024.
Words of encouragement was shared by co-director of the club Vimhalie Pienyü and exhortation by managing director Kezhalelie Keretsü. The programme was chaired by director of the club Khriesazo Liezietsu while former legislator Khriehu Liezietsu also attended the event.
