Boy injured after electrocution

A boy reportedly suffered minor electric shock at Super Market area, opposite Essar petrol pump here on Thursday. A social media post, which went viral, claimed that a kid was electrocuted when he touched the electric pole.

When contacted, an official from the power department told Nagaland Post that the pole had a leakage from the neutral wire, which got tangled with telephone cables.

The official said that due to leakage in the pole the boy suffered minor shock while urinating. The official, however, claimed that the department, after receiving information, had gone to the spot and repaired the damage.
