Bridge Music Academy holds ‘Winter Recital’

The Bridge Music Academy (BMA)organized its annual ‘Winter Recital’ programme at Imliyanger Memorial Center(IMC) on Friday evening where audience were enthralled bystudentswho showcased their skills with different musical instruments andgenres of music.
Manager and director of Rock school London, Ritesh Khokhar, who was the guest of honour for the musical evening, lauded the Nagas for their talent but pointed out that there was a growing need for Naga musicians to dabble with and learn different genres of music to excel and grow.
Citing the ‘music literacy’ abroad as an example, Khokhar said musicians must not only know how the play musical instruments efficiently but also equip themselves with proper knowledge and theory of music to be able to communicate better and establish themselves.
Earlier, the convocation prayer was pronounced by founder and director of Eternal Hope Mission, pastor Caleb Tamang and the welcome address was delivered by BMA director, Tangit. The compere for the programme was Alivi Awomi.
Bridge School of Academy imparts training to students from India and abroad and has 2 institutes in Delhi, and 1 each in Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Dimapur.
