Three-day long camping of Bharat Scouts & Guides Kiphire district was held at 14 IR Camp Aokhe Zong Kiphire, wherein 39 campers attended the programme.
The camp which was held from October 6 concluded on October 8. The young students who came from different schools took vigorous 12 km long trek to reach Kiphire town on Tuesday evening.
During the camp, classes for Pravesh to Twitiya, rope knotting, recreational hours, flag hoisting ceremony, camp fire, sightseeing etc were conducted throughout. Special time for Swatcch Bharat and plastic waste management was also given to the students.
Meanwhile, the district organizing commissioner (S/G)Kiphire, Naro on behalf of the group expressed appreciation to the 14 IR Kiphire for providing space for the camp.
