BS&G Wokha district house at Nerhema inaugurated

District house for Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) Wokha, constructed at state training centre (STC), Nerhema was inaugurated by Mhathung Yanthan, advisor, Horticulture and Border Affairs, Nagaland on December 16.

A press release from BS&G Wokha press and media secretary, Thunglamo Odyuo stated that, Yanthan while speaking at the programme as special guest, said, “As a yeomen job, your joining of the band as young scout and guides itself, shows that you are determined and committed to serve the people, and also to prepare yourself for the future to become a good and responsible citizen.”
He urged all scouts and guides to excel in their life as they were disciplined and wished them all success in their endeavor. He also added that he was once a scout member and although scouting was very rudimentary during his time, he was able to learn knotting trick (rope tying). 
He further encouraged the district officials to render their service for the betterment of the society and to expose the young scouts and guides for value and life skill, and to guide them. He further assured to support and assist the BS&G movement. 
Atuo Mezhur Sekhose, state chief commissioner BS&G, Nagaland in his short speech lauded the Wokha district BS&G for their effort in constructing the district house at Nerhema, where he stated that Wokha was the eighth district to have a permanent house. He added that from now, the house will cater to the needs of the district for any BS&G programme in the state training centre. 
Earlier, dedication of district house was led by Rev. Mhathung Lotha, senior pastor, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church (KLBC), welcome address by Oreno Ngullie, guide captain and special number presented by Cistus School & Tiyi Open Unit BS&G. 
Programme was chaired by Orenthung Lotha, DC Wokha-cum-district president BS&G Association. Construction report was presented by H. Orenpomo Ngullie, DOC (S), Wokha, wherein he said that the house was constructed through LADP Fund Wokha. Vote of thanks was delivered by R. Nzanbeni Lotha, DEO-cum-district chief commissioner BS&G, Wokha.
Others dignitaries present in the programme included Khyomo Lotha, former state chief commissioner, Albert Solo STC (S) BS&G Nagaland, Imlisunep ASOC (S),  Zuchobeni Lotha, president  Lothe Eloe Hoho-cum-vice president BS&G Wokha and  invitees from Nerhe –Phesa village.
