BSF rescues ‘Asian forest tortoise’

BSF troops of 37 bn BSF Chedema, Kohima on June 30 rescued an endangered “Asian forest tortoise” weighing about 20kg. In a press release, PRO, M&C frontier BSF said that the troops informed Forest department about the rescue and handed to forest department (Wild Life division) in the presence of 2IC 37 B BSF, S P Singh.
