Bible Society of India (BSI) Dimapur Auxiliary celebrated 40th anniversary from April 12 to 13, 2025 at Dimapur Rengma Baptist Church Khermahal Dimapur (DRBC). The main celebration was held on April 13, 2025, which was chaired by Rev. Tenga Seb, treasurer of BSI and local Church pastor.
Rev. Dr. N. Paphino, Auxiliary president welcomed the speakers and members from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Karbi Along district of Assam and Nagaland. Special songs were presented by BSI Kohima Branch, Chakhesang Baptist Church Youth, Dimapur and Dimapur Rengma Baptist Church Youth. The DRBC gave offering for the New Bible House Construction.
Extending greetings, Mijungla, Sr. Translation Advisor, Shillong Translation Centre challenged the people to give their best support so that BSI will be able to provide Bible to all people. Lily Tep, Associate Pastor Women, DRBC read Scripture and Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill, former Sr. Auxiliary Secretary delivered a challenging message.
On April 12, the evening service was chaired by Zakiebito Terhuja, president of Dimapur Branch. On both the services Dimapur Rengma Baptist Church Youth led Praise and Worship. Rev. Tar Choya invoked the presence and blessing of God.
Experiences were shared from four states- Dr. Oling Perme, Roing Branch, Arunachal Pradesh, Borsingh, Borsing Tisso, vice president Diphu Branch,Karbi Anglong district, Assam, Rev, Dr. ¬Vanmawia, president, Churachandpur Branch, Manipur, and Temsü Longchar, Mokokchung Branch, Nagaland. They expressed the leading hands of God in the ministry of the Word of God. This was followed by the special song presented by New Life Bible College students.
Rev. Toshi Longchar read the Word of God and Rev. L. Timothy Phaomei, president Imphal Branch delivered the message. He challenged the congregation to live according to the biblical principles.
