In response to National AIDS Control Organization’s (NACO) two month long intensified (IEC) campaign, the Red Ribbon Club of Baptist Theological College (BTC), Pfutsero, organized essay competition on “Breaking Barriers: HIV/AIDS Awareness in the Digital Age”, on September 11, at the college premises.
A press release by BTC stated that the focal point of the competition was to create awareness about HIV and AIDS among students through creative expression and short impactful messages, encouraging a deeper understanding and sensitivity towards the issue.
Altogether, 16 students participated in the competition and demonstrated their knowledge and awareness on the topic, where top three winners were honoured with cash prizes by guest speaker, SDO (R&B), Pfutsero Division, Er. Vethivolu Nyekha.
