BVP holds installation and oath taking ceremony

Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), a social organization known for its dedication to the development and growth in the country, held its official installation and oath-taking ceremony at Durga Mandir auditorium, Dimapur on Sunday.
The event was graced by distinguished personalities, including president Jain Samaj Om Prakash Sethi, social worker Arun Kumar Nandy, and founder director of Peace Channel Dr. Fr. CP Anto as guests of honour while social worker Chhawi Kumar Sethi was the chief guest for the programme. Jagadindu Deb, Regional Secretary of BVP, was also present at the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Chhawi Kumar acknowledged the activities carried out by BVP and expressed pride in being associated with the organization. He urged others to join BVP and contribute to the betterment of the country.
Om Prakash expressed his commitment to support BVP’s endeavors and praised the organization for not just being a social group but also a means of providing “sewa” or service to the community.
Also speaking at the event, Arun Kumar Nandi pledged to utilize his capabilities to aid BVP in its mission to improve society and uplift the less fortunate.
Dr. Fr. CP Anto lauded BVP for being the voice of the voiceless and assured the organization of his cooperation in its activities. He emphasized the importance of accepting everyone as children of the same God who doesn’t discriminate and encouraged attendees to be agents of change within society.
Newly inducted president BVP, in his acceptance speech said that he was honored to lead a team of vibrant members who were experienced, dedicated and instrumental in accomplishing various programs and projects of the organization during the year and fulfilling the dream and objectives of BVP ‘Five S’- sampark, sahayog, sanskar, sewa and samarpan.
The BVP team, consisting of 59 members, will be led by Er. Rabinderjit Singh Panesar as the new president.
Earlier the programme was chaired by Pooja Das Paul, welcome address by Arijit Sharma, and vote of thanks by convenor Bishnu Bhattacharjee.
