BWH for pregnant women launched

District Hospital, Peren launched a Birth Waiting Home (BWH) for pregnant women in Hospital premises on April 21.

According to district media officer CMO office Peren, Shekho Sophie, the home was launched by Dr. Niriethono Zetsuvi, MS, District Hospital, Peren. Dr. Meningsiliu Rentta, Jr. Spl (Obs & Gynea) highlighted about the facilities on benefit of Birth Waiting Home while Dr. Avika P. Jimo, MO (AYUSH) DH, chaired the programme and delivered the keynote address.

The programme was attended by Zeliang Officers Association Nagaland, student community, medical fraternity and ASHA’s. Lungtongbo, pastor, Liangmai Baptist Church, Peren offered the dedicatory prayer.
