Minister RD and ministerial in-charge Mon district, C. L. John has urged NPF party workers to remain united and work for the welfare of the people.
He was speaking at the NPF Mon division unit reorganization programme at Mon division unit office on November 24.
A press release by NPF press secretary Mon division, Wangtin Konyak stated that C.L. John also urged the party workers to be cooperative adding that the party workers should not create any misunderstanding instead work with dedication so that the party could achieve the goal.
While saying that cock symbol was a “God blessed party”, the minister also said that the party was not dictatorial and asked the party workers to stand on principles.
He expressed gratitude to the party workers of the Mon district for their whole hearted support to NPF led government led by its president Dr. Shurhozelie and chief minister T.R. Zeliang during the political crisis earlier this year.
C L John said that this was an example of unity during adverse situations and requested the newly elected office bearers to work with dedication for the common cause of the Nagas.
The programme was chaired by general secretary central Hq Kohima, B.P.Hanghu and invocation prayer for the newly inducted office bearers was pronounced by Pastor Nahngom, KBCM, welcome speech was delivered by advisor DUDA Thongwang.
Short speeches were delivered by vice president central Hq Kohima and convener, Review Committee, Pusazo Luruo, general secretary central Hq Kohima Nchumo Kikon, vice president Farmers Wing central Hq Kohima Tingthoak and president Mon division unit Yanlong. Oath taking was carried by vice president central Hq Kohima and incharge Mon division unit, Lepshi Ao.
Others who attended the programme include advisor NBDA Naiba Konyak, parliamentary secretary Home Guards and Sericulture E. E. Pangteang, MLA Pohwang, former ministers Nyeiwang and Yoktin.
