Special commissioner of State Taxes, Dimapur, Y. Mhathung Murry emphasized on the need for a proper deliberation among the Lotha organizations to discuss on the prevailing confronting issues and on the utilization of available natural resources.
Speaking at the annual general body meeting of the Dimapur Lotha Hoho (DLH) at Hoho Ki here on Monday, Murry said if all these were to happen, then people must first unite and work together by supporting each other. He also suggested a roadmap for the youngsters with proper vision and planning so that the future generation could not face the same issues.
Advisor to Chief Minister, Dr. Chumben Murry, who was also attended the meeting, called for unity to avail the benefit.
Highlighting on the various development activities taking place in the state, he pointed out how chief minister Neiphiu Rio has given equal importance to all the tribes by maintaining “tribal equilibrium”. In this line, Dr. Chumben appealed to the Lotha community to unite and seize the “unique and golden” opportunity.
Earlier, the programme began with an invocation by associate pastor Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, Lanlongo Yanthan, welcome address was delivered by chairman of DLH, Thungchanthung Murry. The meeting was chaired by vice chairman DLH, Renathung Ezung.
At the meeting, various agendas were discussed and approved.
