Campaign on ‘conservation of wildlife & environment’

Continuing with its awareness campaign on “conservation of wildlife and environment” and its commitment to visit 50 colleges and schools in Dimapur, Fingerprint-Design & Events visited St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School on Thursday.
A press note by Fingerprint-Design & Events head, Hongba Phom stated that while presenting its awareness to the student, the team enlightened the students about the effects of deforestation in Amazon rainforest where 28,000 sq. Km of forest was cleared every year for business expansion.
It stated that the devastation of rainforest have affected the climate all around the world and changed the weather pattern. They encouraged the students to stand up like those people around the world who have refused to buy or eat chicken which were fed from the soya bean grown in the newly cleared Amazon rainforest.
The team emphasized that it was time for “us” to save and protect the tress which are doing their job of releasing oxygen and absorbing harmful carbon dioxide.
