CAN Youth Dimapur would be organizing an “X CHANGE North East Youth NGO” summit for NGOs run by young people of North Eastern Region (NER) from March 15-17 at Dimapur under the mentorship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome IAS and a psychologist, strategy, policy, learning- development from Guwahati, Dr. Neel Konwar.
A press release by CAN stated that the three-day summit was meant to create a forum for young NGOs, thereby strengthening the network and promoting NGOs to redress challenges faced by NGOs in NER. It stated that strategies and practices would be shared by experts from around the region and other states of India.
The release informed that focus would be on presentations by founder/speaker of respective NGOs, while plenary session would be delivered by renowned figure and grassroots experts on community and public institution, motivational sharing by renowned social entrepreneur, social activist and bureaucrats, action plan, group activity, closure event of North East Changelooms Fellowship.
