Candidates organise campaigns and rallies across the state

Candidates of various political parties organised rallies and campaigns in districts across Nagaland.
Zale Neikha: Intending NDPP candidate of 15th Southern Angami- 11 assembly constituency Er. Zale Neikha said that he joined politics with the main focus to empower the youths and bring development in his constituency and the state as the whole. 
He said this while interacting with media persons in Kohima on Saturday.
Er. Neikha said he had great burden and concern to create sustainability job avenues and shared his planned to create opportunity and guide for the students to compete in the competitive exam. 
On resigning from government servant to join politics, Er. Neikha said that representing in the state assembly had greater scope to help and uplift the society.
Vikho-o Yhoshii: In a separate occasion, NDPP intending candidate of 14-Southern Angami -1 Er. Vikho-o Yhoshii said that he re-contested the election with a greater hope to be part of the stable government to serve the people with his best effort. He said this while interacting with the local media people at Kigwema village on Saturday afternoon.
Er. Yhoshii said that he has great concern to create job avenues for the young generation passing out from various institutions every year and it need drastic decision to address the issue. 
Er. Yhoshii said that if elected, his top priority is good roads, better communication system, introducing better technology for the farmers. (Correspondent)   
T.N Mannen: NDPP Mokokchung held a “mass rally” in support of the 23rd Impur A/C candidate, T N Manen at Kobulong Town High School Auditorium with NDPP chief ministerial candidate, Neiphiu Rio as key speaker. 
Earlier, the programme was chaired by NDPP general secretary (adm) Mokokchung region, S Bendang Aier, invocation by KBA pastor, O Alem, welcome address by intending NDPP candidate from 23rd Impur A/C, T N Manen and short speeches by Kobulong Ad-hoc town committee vice-chairman and NDPP working president, Alemtemshi, while benediction was said by KBA youth director, Meren Imsong.      
Dr. Tseilhoutou (Ato): Addressing its final rally at Jail Colony, NPF candidate, Dr. Tseilhoutou (Ato) on Saturday evening said that life was not about what a person could get but what the person could do for the people.
He said honesty and community participation will run the government if he was elected and he vowed to show that a government does not belong only to rich people. “With transparency, development will be seen in the state capital” he stated.
Dr. Ato asserted that citizens of Kohima, being of the state capital, hold additional responsibility because if peace and development could be brought to Kohima, the message will spread to the rest of the state and eventually changes should be seen in other districts as well.
Neikiesalie Nicky Kire: On the other hand, speaking at a rally at PR junction, NDPP candidate, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire said that he would show better performance if only he were given a full term without hurdles – thereafter, citizens could judge him after the five years.
Lamenting that weak leadership had led to a number of crises during the last tenure of the NLA, Dr. Nicky said such instability will not be repeated.
He also appealed to the voters to not confuse his NDPP party symbol with the NPF symbol because they resemble each other.
