Capacity training held at Chozuba

DIMAPUR: A sensitisation and capacity building under Information, Education and Communication (IEC) on the flagship of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” and under the banner of “Swachh Bharat” Urban 2.0 was organised at Vamuzo memorial hall, Chozuba Town on March 24.
According to a DIPR report, resource person, EAC Obangnener Jamir talked on the topic “city sanitation action plan, characterisation and GAP analysis”.
Obangnener also shared about door to door waste collection which was launched on March 23.
Meanwhile, EAC, Omegali highlighted “IEC and Action Plan”, while detailed explanation on SBM 2.0, roadmap for Chozuba Town, ODF garbage free rating, waste segregation and waste management MRF, etc., were also imparted.
In a short speech, head GB Poranyi Shijoh also appealed to the gathering to keep their surroundings and wards clean.
The programme was attended by representatives from nine wards of Chozuba town, schools, churches and wards.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Sato Veswuh.
