CAPF appeals directorate of H&FW

The Chessore Area Public Forum (CAPF) has expressed its strong resentment to directorate of Health and Family Welfare over the non fulfillment of its representation.
A press release by CAPF president Akhum A and Kiumukam general secretary stated that its representation was on genuine demand for immediate deployment of medical officer and to maintain required necessities at primary health centre (PHC) Chessore.
CAPF stated that “on lethargy from the concern department” the denizens had to face untold misery and recently lost more than 35 children due to the sudden outbreak of measles epidemic at Chessore with none to intervene the situation. Despite several appeals through media representation on the needs at Chessore PHC, the CAPF stated that still department has not paid heed to its genuine appeals.
CAPF stated that “such a gesture can be estimated as the lack of enthusiasms from the concern department”. It further added that while the concerned department remained mute, it was the Chessore Catholic community which came forth as Good Samaritan and contained the epidemic with exigency medications.
CAPF further mourned the loss and has beseeched the higher authority to immediately fulfill its demand at Chessore PHC.
