Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Capital College conducted a Teachers’ Orientation Programme, under the theme, “Transformative Pedagogy for Empowering Students,” on July 7. The orientation aimed to prepare faculty members for the upcoming academic session with a renewed focus on student-centered and outcome-based teaching practices.
The program was moderated by department of Tenyidie, Assistant Professor, Theja Lohe, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of adopting transformative approaches in pedagogy to meet the evolving needs of students in today’s education landscape.
The orientation program featured two sessions. Session I was led by IQAC Coordinator, Opangmenla Jamir, who focused on “Changing Goals and Objectives of Education.” Session II focused on “Practical Session on Blended Pedagogy,” conducted by Department of English, Assistant Professor, Dr. Rukulu Kezo, The orientation concluded with a Q&A session and a vote of thanks.
