Tuensang district administration organised a civil services oriented career counselling programme for class X to XII students of GHSS Tuensang and GHSS Thangjam at the auditorium hall of GHSS Tuensang.
Delivering the inaugural address, DIG Range Tuensang, Rajashekara N gave an overview of the various central government service examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
He also enlightened and encouraged the students to be thorough with the curriculum in order to forge a strong foundation.
He also urged them to aspire and prepare for such competitive exams irrespective of educational background.
The resource persons for the programme were Minga Sherpa, SDO(C) Tuensang, Dr.Preetpal Kaur, SDPO Tuensang and N. Orenthung Kikon EAC (P) Tuensang.
Earlier, Apenro Khuvung, vice principal, GHSS Tuensang delivered the welcome address.
Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Mohammed Ali Shihab also spoke on the occasion. After the programme, the officials led by the DC and DIG (R) inspected the GHSS Tuensang premises.
