Career guidance and free medical camp at Cheteba Town

Superintendent of Police, Phek office in collaboration with Chakesang Students Union (CSU) and Primary Health Care (PHC) conducted a livelihood/career guidance session and free medical camp at Cheteba Town Hall on October 11.


SP Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur, guided the participants on various career options and urged to avoid drugs and other intoxicants. She inspired the students to do hard work with dedication so as to build the society together. The SP also spoke on misuse of social media and how to avoid the same. She further motivated all the students to make the society more progressive and peaceful.


Sahil from MGN Fellowship, district administration, explained about various government schemes and programmes for students. He also gave insights for benefits of SHGs, livelihood trainings and schemes for elders.
Free medical camp was conducted by MO PHC Chetheba, Dr. Zasheveyi.


Earlier, the programme was chaired by CSU president, Bezo Kevin Kapu, invocation by Chetheba Town Baptist Church pastor Rev. Vesrupa. More than 250 participants attended the programme including school students, VCC and village elders.
