ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Dimapur, in collaboration with Don Bosco Job Placement Network, India, organized a Career Guidance Training Programme under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Dr. Roy George SDB, Executive Director, AIDA Dimapur.
In his welcome address, Rev. Fr. Dr. Roy George emphasized the importance of career guidance in shaping the future of students and contributing to society. He urged the participants to look beyond personal gains and strive for the betterment of society by guiding and mentoring students to choose meaningful career paths that align with their strengths and interests.
The event was coordinated by Sebi Chacko, Placement Coordinator of AIDA – JPN, and was conducted for school teachers, counselors, principals, vocational trainers, and college placement officers. The one-day program aimed to equip participants with essential tools to guide students in making informed career decisions.
The sessions were led by Rev. Fr. Renigo Roy SDB, Assistant Professor in the department of Counselling and Psychology at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, and Rev. Fr. Gabriel Karunaraj SDB, National Director of Don Bosco Job Placement Network, India. The program concluded with a feedback session, helping participants enhance their ability to mentor and guide students effectively in their career journeys.
