The District Sports Office in Wokha has announced the upcoming Catch Them Young Tournament Regu event Under -14 in Sepaktakraw, for both boys and girls on May 4, at SMBH School, Wokha.
A press release from DSO in-charge Wokha, Libemo Jami has encouraged all schools in and around Wokha Town Administrative Headquarters to participate in the event. The department informed that the Interested schools can reach out to the District Sports Office, Wokha, for registration and any tournament-related inquiries.
The District Sports Office has emphasized the significance of this tournament as the team selected will be representing the district in the forthcoming State Level under -14 Catch Them Young Tournament which will be held from the May 20 to 22. The event is set to be held at I.G. Stadium Kohima.
As per the eligibility criteria, players must be born on or after May 31, 2010, to participate in the tournament. Additionally, students are mandated to produce their Aadhaar Card during registration.
The last date for registration is April 30, 2024 and it urged interested participants to complete the registration process before the deadline.
