CBC celebrates centenary jubilee

Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church (CBC) Mokokchung celebrated its centenary jubilee starting from December 19 and 20, conducted under the theme “Kibuba uludaktsudi” at the church premises.

A press release by the organisers stated that, ABAM Impur executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger in his speech, expressed happiness in celebrating the centenary of the church blessed by the almighty since its inception. He said that jubilee has always been special times to look back, to rejuvenate one’s life and to renew the faith, so that one may grow towards a deeper Christian life and do more generous service to others. In this, he urged upon the congregation to reconcile, to reform and to proclaim the goodness of life.
On the centenary occasion, minister of Planning and Coordination, Land revenue, Neiba Kronu extended jubilee greetings and that celebration of the jubilee was a huge landmark for the church to grow bigger to win more souls for the Lord in the days to come. Minister acknowledged the pioneer, church leader and the congregation for the successful centenary jubilee celebration. He also called upon the congregation to maintain mutual relationship among the neighboring villages as a dutiful Christian.
