Two-day golden jubilee celebration of Chakhesang Baptist Church Diphupar (CBCD) held under the theme “Proclaim liberty” came to an on Sunday, at its church premises.
The celebration programme highlighted unveiling of jubilee monolith which was carried out by Rev. Khrotso Mero, was followed by colourful displayed presented by Children department.
At the programme thanksgiving prayer was offered by founding member, Zünepranyo Kezo, welcome note was delivered by organizing committee convener Nguzonyi Wetsah, greetings was delivered by WCBCC chairman Rev. Dr. Nüvocho Dzüdo.
Highlighted of the programme included song presentation by parents’ choir, CBC, Diphupar ‘B’ choir and jubilee choir, offertory prayer was offered by former pastor Verüda Puro.
Words of gratitude was delivered by deacon, Sanüzo Nienü, former pastor, Nükhüzo Rhakho read out the scripture and message based on the theme was delivered by Rev. Khrotso Mero.
The celebration programme was attended by around 500 delegates including delegates from various churches besides pastors and church officials.
Later, benediction prayer was offered by CBCC, former executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo.
It may be mentioned that CBCD was established in the year 1969.
