Under the initiative of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK) repairs of a road leading to the Light House Prayer & Worship Center (LHPWC) Tekhuba, Aradura, Kohima (an approximate stretch of 2½ Kms from Kohima town) was undertaken by members of the Church, led by Rev. Wepre Mero, pastor, CBCMHK on October 29.
A press release by CBCMHK media coordinator, Kuzhovesa Soho stated that the repairing work made certain that the portion of the road was motor-able by filling up potholes with stones etc. Expenditure for the repairs was borne by the Church and taken up in view of the forthcoming Quarterly Prayer Lord’s program scheduled from November 2 to 4.
The road which serves as a lifeline for many residents of Aradura was jointly maintained by individual(s) along with the CBCMHK for the past years.
