DIMAPUR: Chümoukedima Chamber of Commerce & Trade Association (CCC&TA) has expressed appreciation to Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Aotula T. Imchen, for the recent installation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras across Chümoukedima town in three prime locations.
In a press release, CCC&TA stated that the new CCTV network has enhanced the sense of safety and confidence among travellers and citizens in public places. It noted improved monitoring in high traffic areas, quicker responses to incidents, and relief among citizens knowing that the police commissionerate was taking proactive steps to prevent crime and ensure public order.
The association commended the leadership of the commissioner and the prompt action of the police force in planning and implementing the project, describing it as a strong commitment to community safety. CCC&TA also acknowledged DGP Nagaland, Rupin Sharma, and the entire police department for their commendable service across the state. CCC&TA expressed hope that the initiative would be maintained and expanded as needed, while looking forward to continued collaboration between the police and the community to keep the town safe and secure.
