Country Craft Development Society (CCDS) chairman Aolemba has reacted to the Khango-led NSCN (K) “unfounded accusations”, which he said “necessitate clarification to set the record straight.”
In a rejoinder, CCDS chairman Aolemba stated that the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India under the MSE — Cluster Development Program, had approved for setting up a Common Facility Centre (CFC) for Wooden Furniture Cluster at Dimapur.
As per the guideline of the ministry, CCDS chairman said the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, government of Nagaland is the Nodal Agency and the Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation (NIDC) Ltd, Dimapur, was the Implementing Agency for the Scheme.
He said that the responsibility of the CCDS, taking the role as the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), was to manage the day-to-day activities, running and maintenance of the CFC upon completion of civil works and installation of all machineries.
Aolemba said that he, as the chairman of the society, was a co-promoter/beneficiary and not the contractor or supplier for the project, contrary to the allegations made against him.
Further, Aolemba said that CFC project was ongoing and all detailed information about the project and its current status was available with the concerned Nodal Agency and the Implementing Agency of the State Government.
Therefore, CCDS chairman has urged all the responsible not to be confused with the “false allegation” levelled against him.
