Ahead of the general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) 2023, Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) Kohima organised a three-phase campaign on “Clean Election Campaign” from February 13 – 17 at the college campus.
A press release issued by CCHE Kohima informed that the first phase of the campaign was held in the form of poster campaign wherein students contributed posters with various messages in the form of slogan, some which reads – “My Vote is not for sale”, “Your Vote is your Voice”, “Say No to Note, Rightly cast your Vote” and many more.
The second phase of the campaign was a signature campaign wherein students and teachers undertook pledges to participate in clean election and about 200 signatures were collected as part of the signature campaign.
The third phase of the campaign was undertaken by the students wherein they carried forward the message of clean election and awareness to the citizens in the state capital beyond the college campus and around 600 signatures were collected where the participants pledged for clean election.
