The Chokri Chakhesang Literature Board (CCLB) held a handing and taking over ceremony on July 25 at its office in Kohima to mark the transition to a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2025 to 2027.
Outgoing chairman Ariyi Nienu formally handed over files to the newly elected chairman, Vekhozo Ringa, in the presence of outgoing and incoming officials. Nienu, who completed his fourth term.
Accepting his new role, Ringa assured to work with dedication and urged the community for their full support in all future endeavours. Treasurer Kuvesho Tetseo presented the financial status report for the period between May 24, 2022, and July 18, 2025, which was appreciated by the house for its transparency.
