Department of Employment and Skill Development has given a quick response to the call of the Confederation of Chang Students Union (CCSU) in regard to dissatisfactory performance by principal, Government Industrial Training Institute (GITI) Tuensang.
A joint press release by CCSU president, Chingmak Kumchuba and assistant general secretary, Bumat Chumi stated that, Lotam Chang, joint director and Razo, junior engineer reached Tuensang and held a meeting with CCSU on June 29. CCSU along with the officials paid a visit to GITI, Tuensang. After thorough inspection and learning of multiple grievances in the institution, senior officials from the directorate were persuaded that the principal had to be replaced by a competent successor.
The CCSU further appealed to the department concerned to take up the matters discussed on top priority.
