CDFA elects new leadership

DIMAPUR, JUN 8 (NPN)

The Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) has successfully transitioned to a new executive body following the completion of the outgoing committee’s tenure on May 31, 2025. The newly elected leadership, spearheaded by president Sedevikho Angami and general secretary Thangboi Thomsong, has formally assumed office, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the district’s football administration.
The new executive committee includes vice presidents Visako Rino and Yongsen Jamir, joint secretary Medo Thepa, finance secretary Seyieneilhou Keyho, treasurer Viketulhou Kuotsu, and referee director Neichulie Nagi, along with advisors Sunup Ao and Vitouto Kuotsu.
During the handover ceremony, the incoming leadership emphasized their commitment to fostering youth development, improving sports infrastructure, and enhancing competitive football opportunities in the district. The outgoing committee was recognized for its contributions, including organizing local tournaments and nurturing grassroots talent.
Football enthusiasts and stakeholders across Chümoukedima have expressed optimism about the new leadership’s vision, with expectations high for continued growth and development in the sport. The new executive body, under Angami’s leadership, is set to unveil its strategic roadmap for CDFA’s future initiatives in the coming weeks.
