CDVCA flays Sep 28 firing at Diphupar village

DIMAPUR, OCT 3 (NPN)

Chumoukedima District Village Councils’ Association (CDVCA) has strongly condemned the firing incident that took place at 4th Mile Diphupar Village, L. Khel allegedly by “some unknown Naga national workers group” on September 28, 2025.
In a statement, CDVCA convenor Razouvotuo Chatsu and general secretary Vika H Chishi expressed dismay that when the association was strongly raising its voice on review of the Ceasefire Ground Rules, such “illegal activities by some self centered individuals posing themselves as Naga National workers” were destroying the very essence of Naga nationalism and putting own Naga people’s lives at risk by firing recklessly in Naga populated areas.
CDVCA cautioned that it would not tolerate such kind of attitude from “Naga national workers groups”. The association further warned that it would declare non-cooperation against the particular group or refrain from any kind of mutual support if any groups were caught in such acts within its member village jurisdiction.
