Civil Engineers Association of Nagaland (CEAN) has reminded all its members and non-members to restrain from filling up the Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD) forms, which was advertised vide notification dated November 23, 2019.
CEAN through its media cell has also reminded those who have collected the forms not to submit and those who have submitted to withdraw their candidature. The association has requested all members and non-members to cooperate and be patient till CEAN demand for transparency, opportunity and equality in public employment was met. CEAN had served an ultimatum dated February 7, 2019 on government requesting for termination of 30 SOs grade-II, seven draftsman and seven surveyors. Recently, the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) had also demanded termination of “illegal appointees” (30 SOs grade-II, 7 Draftsmen and 7 surveyor) under NPWD, who were appointed between July 6, 2016 and August 10, 2018.
